The Calvert Trust has been providing respite breaks as well as holidays for a number of years.

In the main building it offers accommodation with care, as well as providing rooms for guests who do not need the care support. The majority of rooms are en-suite and well appointed.

In addition, the site has a number of lodges capable of accommodating between 6 and 8 people; chalets include a room with hoist facilities and a wet room, and in some chalets, pets are permitted.

The Alan Bott Charity has block booked much of the site for the week 4-11 October and is currently approaching other groups who deal with neurological conditions to offer the opportunity to their members to join us.

Calvert Trust, Kielder Water, offers a wide range of activities, some of which are quite energetic, but others which will suit those less active, and the ABC week will cater for both.

In addition to the ABC week, the charity supports those wanting a break at other times. For further details please contact the charity via the "CONTACTING US" page.

Located in Scotland just outside North Berwick, Leuchie House offers full respite care, including nursing support, to its guests, many of whom have progressed to a more serious state of their condition. Stays at Leuchie House can be for 11, 7 or 4 nights.

The Alan Bott Charity has allocated funds to Leuchie House to assist with holiday breaks.

ABC can also provide limited help those arranging their own breaks. For further details, use the contact page.
